April Myrick is the driving force behind The Colonel’s Brew  Before turning her passion for food into a thriving business, April dedicated  34.5 years to military service, where she developed her signature discipline, precision, and leadership mindset  .

Following her military career, April pursued a formal education in culinary arts, earning a Bachelor’s in Culinary Management from the Art Institute of Dallas. She then launched Colonel’s Cooking, a catering company rooted in freshly made, from-scratch dishes. Her military precision ensures every event is executed with impeccable timing and care.

Now, April is welcoming the community at The Colonel’s Brew in Irving, Texas—a place where heartfelt hospitality meets gourmet coffee and wholesome meals.

Whether she’s designing a Sunday Dinner menu, hosting supper clubs, or mentoring the next generation, April’s journey is a testament to service—served with a smile and a cup of freshly brewed coffee.
